The scrollbar can display incoming SMS text messages sent by the viewers of the TV program using their mobile phones. Live television programs can be made interactive this way. ( Of course the editor of the TV program can preview and delete the incoming messages before they are displayed. ) The scrolling of the SMS text is perfectly smooth even on an average computer with a low-cost graphics card. For the purpose of broadcasting, the scrollbar can be displayed in any position and any size on the screen of any monitor attached to the system ( e. g. video beam, TV out, secondary monitor... ). Various options are available for configuring the visual appearance of the SMS ticker: the flow of the scroller ( direction, speed, fading... ), text appearance ( font face, font size, font style... ), positioning and sizing.
